Wauchula Abstract and Title Co., Inc.

Wauchula Abstract & Title Co., Inc.  shares a longtime business history in central Florida.  The title company began with McLeod Abstract Company which was in existence prior to 1921.  Wauchula Abstract Company obtained the records on or about May 25, 1921.  The name was changed to Wauchula Abstract & Title Company on November 2, 1929 and filed with the Florida Department of State.  The name was changed to the current name and incorporated on December 23, 1975.  The Conerly family has owned the company since December 28, 1987.
